airBaltic operates 47 Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with plans to operate a fleet of 100 aircraft by 2030. They are significantly expanding and looking for experienced pilots to strengthen their Pilot community.

While they don't currently offer Direct Entry Captain positions, they provide a fast track to command for skilled pilots who demonstrate experience, performance and leadership.

Required skills

  • Languages: English
  • EASA ATPL or Frozen ATPL (CPL with ATPL subjects);
  • EASA Class 1 flight crew medical certificate;
  • ICAO Level 4 proficiency in English language or higher;
  • 2750 hours of CAT operations on modern aircraft with EFIS, FMA and FMS systems;
  • 1500 hours on CS25 (MTOW > 5,7t);
  • Clean Criminal Record;
  • Excellent CRM;
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation and commitment to the highest standards of safety and responsibility.

Other information

Benefits:

  1. Annual average base income (includes 60 BH/month) 56 880 – 70 200 EUR gross (minimum 38 110 – 47 066 EUR net);
  2. BH rate 50 EUR gross;
  3. Fast track upgrade to Captain within a year;
  4. A220 type rating covered by us with a 3 year bond agreement;
  5. Permanent employment contract with three months’ probation period;
  6. Flexible roster with possibility to bid for preferred days off and flights or fixed roster with pattern 5 on/4 off/5 on/3 off;
  7. Average 70 BH flown in month (flexible roster);
  8. A minimum of 8 days off per month with 4 days off in a row for flexible roster;
  9. Roster for the next month published 14 calendar days in advance;
