Vanguard Air Care Inc, a division of Fast Air Ltd., is seeking candidates for a King Air 200 Medevac First Officer position.

In this role you will be responding to calls from remote communities across northern Manitoba flying a Medevac fleet of aircraft on a flexible, full-time basis, accommodating an irregular flight schedule. As a First Officer you will be an integral part of the medevac multi-disciplinary team.

Rotations are currently either 7 days on / 7 days off or 14 days on / 14 days off.
Vanguard bases are located in Winnipeg, Island Lake, Norway House and Thompson, Manitoba

Required skills

Languages: English

TC CPL;
Current ME/IR Land;
TC Class 1 flight crew medical certificate;
The unrestricted right to live and work in Canada;
500 hours of total flying experience;
Must be fluent in verbal and written English;
Ability to work with minimal supervision;
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service;
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills;
Ability to create alternative solutions to problems;
Excellent time management;
High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning;
Work well under pressure;
Ability to interpret and implement company policies, procedures and follow Aircraft SOPs;
Ability to build effective working relationships quickly and work as an effective team member;
Ability to express and communicate appreciation and feedback;
Ability to maintain a respectful workplace;
Ability to maintain a clean and tidy workplace;
Must obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card;
Must maintain a Valid Passport and be eligible to work in Canada;
Must provide a criminal records check, vulnerability sectors and child abuse check that is not more than six months old;
Immunizations must be up to date including COVID-19;
Current CPR certification.
