L3Harris is currently looking for a Spec Pilot to operate aircraft in accordance with FAA, company, and customer directives while operating and wearing Night Vision Goggle (NVG) / night vision enhanced devices from remote locations. Coordinates with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct aircraft discrepancies. Employees may be assigned other duties, as directed by management.
Required skills
- FAA CPL;
- FAA Class 2 flight crew medical certificate;
- Current ME/IR Land;
- 2000 hours of total flying experience;
- 1000 hours flying experience Pilot in Command;A valid US passport allowing unrestricted travel;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DOD Secret Security Clearance;
- Pre-employment drug test and a medical exam administered by L-3Harris;
- Criminal history records check and a background check will be performed;
- At least 21 years old;
- Valid Driver’s License;
- Ability to possess firearms.
Desired skills
- Prior manned ISR related duties, forward air control (FAC), FAC (A), JTAC experience, airborne sensor experience, fixed or rotary wing direct air support experience;
- NVG experience;
- 200 hours Turboprop time;
- 200 hours of Instrument (actual) time;
- 300 hours of fixed wing multi engine time;
- BE300 type rating;
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate;
- Rating held for the last three (3) consecutive years.
