2Excel operates Boeing 727s on behalf of Oil Spill Response Ltd. If there is an oil spill anywhere in the world, it's their responsibility to deploy their 727s and spray dispersant at low level to avoid an environmental disaster. They’re on standby 365 days a year for this very important job.

2Execl is currently looking for B727 Non Type Rated Captains.

Required skills

• Languages: English

• UK CAA ATPL;
• UK CAA Class 1 flight crew medical certificate;
• The unrestricted right to live and work in the UK;
• 3000 hours of total flying experience;
• 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on multi-engine jet aeroplanes with maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of at least 20 metric tonnes.

Desired skills

• Ability to perform as a TRE/TRI would be highly advantageous;
• Previous military low-level flying experience would be advantageous.

Other information

Their aircraft are currently on standby at Southend Airport. It is their intention to move these back to Doncaster Airport when they’re able to. You should expect to spend no more than 10 days on standby with the aircraft each month, with any remaining standby time carried out from home. After the initial type rating, you will also need to visit the US Simulator twice per year for recurrent training.

Full-type rating training will be provided, candidates should be prepared to spend up to 3 weeks away from home in the simulator for initial training. This will require TSA clearance and a US Visa. We will support successful applicants through this process, but anything precluding you from being able to commit to the training or obtaining the appropriate clearances will mean your application will not be successful.
